Services for Adults with Disabilities


imageGoodwill provides several programs that are designed to help people with a wide range of cognitive and physical disabilities, including vision and hearing loss, to become self-reliant and independent in the community.

Services range from basic self-care and daily living activities to job training, coaching on employment sites and other post-employment support.

Adult Day Health

Oahu, Hilo (Hawaii)

The Adult Day Health program helps Medicaid waiver-eligible individuals with developmental disabilities develop job readiness skills through community volunteer work and training classes.

Personal Assistance/Habilitation (PAB)

Oahu

The PAB program provides one-on-one personal assistance to Medicaid waiver-eligible participants with developmental disabilities. The goal of PAB is to help PAB participants reach their full potential as defined by each participant’s circle of support.

Long-term Adult Supports and Resources (LASR)

Oahu

The LASR program provides non-Medicaid waiver eligible people with developmental disabilities unique learning opportunities for competitive employment, volunteer opportunities, community activities and life skills. It is focused on enhancing the individual’s experience in the community by increasing natural support networks, opportunities to contribute to the community and developing independence.
