The DKNY pea coat below, the Apostrophe ruffle tuxedo shirt and the J Crew grey brocade skirt –  together,  is a classic ensemble.  You ask what is a peat coat?  Add this to your list of fashion terminology…  According to Wikipedia a pea coat (or pea jacket, pilot jacket) is an outer coat, generally of  a navy color and heavy wool.  Originally worn by American sailors and European navies – pea coats are characterized by broad lapels with double-breasted fronts, large wooden or metal buttons, and vertical or slash pockets.  The pea jacket can be traced back to American newspapers as early as the 1720’s.

Goodwill not only provides the help that people need to reach their full potential and become self-sufficient, but Goodwill is very Green, very Eco-chic.  And so is Kate.  Much has been written about how she isn’t afraid to wear the same outfit more than once.  Isn’t that refreshing, a true role model and style icon.  Monochromatic and understated, classic Kate wears yet another cream/beige coat, twice.
