Workforce Development programs provide training and employment services to eligible welfare recipients. While the unsteady economy, temporary emergencies and natural disasters are just a few of the reasons that may place an unforeseen barrier in your life, Workforce Development Programs can give you the guidance, resources and opportunities you need to get back on your feet and ensure that you are able to support yourself and your family.
To receive services, you must be currently receiving financial or food assistance from the Department of Human Services (DHS) and are referred by DHS. Services are provided based on referral by DHS to those who meet the eligibility criteria at no cost.
