Vita Tax Clinic

imageDuring tax preparation season from January through April, Goodwill holds free VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) tax clinics for low-income individuals and families on Oahu, Maui and the Big Island.
Community volunteers, including Goodwill employees, donate their time to help tax clinic participants prepare and file their taxes at no cost. Only certified VITA Tax Preparer volunteers may assist taxpayers in preparing and e-filing their taxes. On-line/Self Study Training can be located on the IRS website. If you are interested in being a tax clinic volunteer or would like additional information on receiving tax preparation services, please call (808) 836-WORK (9675).

Goodwill’s Tax Clinic is closed for the remainder of 2012, and will re-open in January 2013. If you require tax assistance, please call the Aloha United Way info line at 211 for a listing of year-round VITA sites.
