General Clerk I (Schofield, Bldg 881; M-F 1st shift)
Job Description Summary:
Provides support for operation of ASH Brigade Footprint offices for single soldiers within the barracks housing program. Key functions include data entry, assisting with maintenance issues, lockouts, room inspections and other functions as assigned associated with barracks operations.
Education/Qualification Requirement:
High school diploma or general education degree GED) and six months to one year related experience and or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous hotel or housing clerical staffing experience preferred. Prior military experience / knowledge of military infrastructure extremely helpful. Customer service experience required. Must possess a polite, friendly, and enthusiastic demeanor. Must have good communication and computer skills. Basic reading and math skills. Knowledge of using an adding machine and other office equipment required. Ability to understand and carry out instructions. Must be able to type 30+ wpm. Must be able to maintain a professional manner under stress. Must be able to answer questions concerning the housing unit property, policies and procedures as provided. Valid Hawaii Driver's License and clean traffic abstract are required. Ability to gain military base access and pass military security clearance. MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK ALL SHIFTS ON WEEKENDS.
