Children & Youth Day 2009
imageGoodwill Industries of Hawaii and its Ola I Ka Hana Youth Services program participated in the 16th Annual Children and Youth Day at the State Capitol on October 4, 2009. Ola I Ka Hana youth participants and staff had a great time sharing with information about our youth program and educating the public about the services Goodwill provides to strengthen our families and Hawaii’s community. Nearly 1,000 attendees visited Goodwill’s booths, playing tic-tac-toe and learning about our programs and services.
Did You Know?
Over the past 5 years, Goodwill’s service to the community has grown, serving more than 44,000 and placing nearly 8,000 program graduates and participants into jobs throughout the state during this period.
