Goodwill to Hold Invite Night at Maui Store Location

Kahului, Maui (June 24, 2013) – On Friday, June 28, 2013 Goodwill Industries of Hawaii will be having its first Maui Invite Night sponsored by Maui Time and KPOA at the new Maui Goodwill Store located at 250 Alamaha St. in Kahului. Goodwill looks to bring the Maui community together for this exclusive “after hours” event for a night of fun, shopping and savings.

The Maui Invite Night is an event to gather the community to increase the awareness of the new Maui Goodwill store and donation locations. The purchases and donations made to Goodwill directly support its job placement and job readiness programs.  Goodwill has been providing these services to the Maui community since 2004.

The event is open to the public and attendees can RSVP in the store or online at goodwillhawaii.org/mauinight. Those who RSVP will automatically be entered for drawings with the grand prize of a brunch for 4 at the Grand Wailea ($200 value). Activities throughout the night include special offers, giveaways, contests, and personal styling tips courtesy of the students from the Fashion Technology department at Maui College.

Goodwill Industries of Hawaii’s mission is to help people with employment barriers to reach their full potential and become self-sufficient. Supported by its retail operations and financial endeavors, its educational, employment and training programs have provided skills training, employment counseling, job placement and support services since 1959.
